Hey guys,
I will be making a trip to Brisi coming from Central QLD coast to attend an event for my daughter and while I'm down that way, I'd like to do a day trip to see what beauty sth qld coast has to offer. The day will be 24th Sept. If any1 would care to join or even be a tour leader for the day, it would be welcomed.
I'd also like to ask, if any1 can recommend accomodation that would accomodate the ski and which boat ramps have a facility to flush the ski?
Thx kindly
Dan.

Hi Dan

We spoke at the begin of the year when I was coming up your way which I will try again soon.

Ok I will take you round but I think the best for you we do North Straddie as you will get to see more and inside the bay and lunch at the world famous gutter bar.

Its about 140kms trip so you may need to extra fuel.

I will call you soon to tee up.

Regards Xdrian

this is link of the ride video from Nigel for an idea what to expect

Hi All

Dan I spoke today on the phone and he wants to see more of the sites nature things so the plan so far.

First option is a trip to Tangalooma a swim at the wrecks lunch at Bulwer and maybe a crouse around tip of Moreton to see a whale or two.
This totally depending weather nice sunny day no wind may leave from Bribie to save bay crossing time and fuel.

Option 2 a lap around North Straddie site see if weather is just ok and lunch at Gutter bar put in at Jacobs Well

If shitty weather a day on the couch drink beer LOL

Leaving @ 8:30 back mid afternoon
TBA destination Friday night pending weather report

The weather is looking promising at the moment

So here's the plan if any one wants to join in

First option is a trip to Tangalooma a swim at the wrecks lunch at Bulwer and maybe a course around tip of Moreton to see a whale or two.
This totally depending weather nice sunny day no wind leave from Clontarf boat ramp is located in Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf, QLD 4019

Both rides are approx 120kms plus if you do any extra off course I would bring fuel for 150kms ride you can get fuel at Amity and Bulwer is needed.
